Weekend activities

Your friendly carrot is here again! Hello, hello and welcome to this week’s post!

Today I wanted to share what I’ve been up to in the weekends or even after work as I am trying to use my phone less. I am eagerly waiting for the autumn to start so I am kind romanticizing life until that happens.

First step is to create a nice ambiance in your house. Therefore you need some music. My fave kind of music that doesn’t really need my full attention is ambiance music and today I want to share my latest find on the good old YouTube.

Done? COOL. So now you gotta treat yourself.

Start by enjoying some drink of your choice, currently I have some coffee, but a hot cup of lemon ginger tea can also help! Oh, and of course, something sweet to go with that, right now I have some Kürt?skalács which is a traditional cake from Hungaria.

I also like to use my aromatherapy diffuser so I’ll usually use one of the scents below.

Since I like the Halloween and autumn vibes, I also decorated a little around the bookshelves and my home office.

A practice I want to introduce more in my routine is drawing. I used to draw a lot as kid, but kinda lost it, so I am taking baby steps into that, it really calms me. Here is a selection of the best drawings I did.

  • First is my favorite Morticia Addams, Carolyn Jones, who played the role in the 1964 series.
  • Second drawing is the TARDIS from Doctor Who.
  • Third drawing is the Black Church from Brasov.
  • Forth drawing is mister Sherlock Holmes, played by one of my favorite actors – Benedict Cumberbatch.

Please don’t laugh at the eyes of Morticia or the face of Mister Sherlock, still struggle with faces/features.

Let me know in the comments if you do any of this things already or if you have anything else to add.
Hope you’ll have a happy and peaceful weekend!
