Tea, books & Dogs

Hello all! How are you all doing? Hope you are good!
I finished earlier my work and now I am drinking some tea and I am hoping to read a little. I am drinking chamomile tea – which I never liked until a few months ago – and I am reading The Maid’s Diary, book no 10 out of 24 that I plan to read this year. I discovered this author by mistake while browsing Amazon’s recommended choices which I never thought they would have something nice for me. The book through which I discovered this author is The Ghost Writer – a short shorty, about 60 or so pages that you won’t be able to put down until you are finished.

Last week I went to a book fair and got 2 new books – as if I didn’t had anything to read lol – first book I got is one from the Agatha Christie of Romania Rodica Ojog Brasoveanu – Enigma la mansarda & the second one is Bill Gates’s book The Source Code.
I also have collected a few books from the series called 100 Things to know about. You can laugh all you want as these are children’s books, but I find them really interesting. And I recently got the one about Planet Earth. I also like Matt Haig’s books for children, especially the ones with Christmas.

My work is still very tiring, so I rarely have energy to do anything else, but I am glad at least my reading is going well. You can see in the featured photo the view from my work.
I bought some ice cream – Haagen Dazs with raspberry and mango and OMG, it’s so good. I gotta try some other flavours.
This week we also had a bank holiday on Monday and half the day we spent it taking the water out of our balcony after we’ve been flooded. So that was fun, kinda like cardio.

Let me insert some pictures so it’s not just my ramblings.

Here are some doggos from the shelter we visit.

And here is my fave couch potato in the whole world ??

.. and the bigger couch potato – yours truly! A photo taken a month ago, with my Fuji, I was an undercover potato, okay?

Aaaanyway, hope you have a good day & see you soon!
