Well, well, well! Look who’s back, back again! Rox’s back, tell your friend!
Hope you are all doing well. Last time I posted here I had just started my dream job and little did I knew how crazy my schedule will get. Fast forward to today where I am more comfortable with my activities even though there’s still loads to learn and I am so overwhelmed at times. Add to that that I have to be present at the office 4 days each week which is harder that I have thought. It’s been more 5 years since I went 4 days at the office, even before the pandemic I worked mostly from home so it’s hard to adjust especially with the trip back and forth, I spend 2 hours round trip and it’s killing me:)) you might think I’m complaining too much about this and all the higher management kinda “sells” this new working policy as an improvement to have connections and have meaningful conversations and I agree BUT when you work with only one person in the office and the rest is just teams calls it doesn’t make sense to me.
Anyways! You might notice a few changes here and there to this blog. I spend quite some time to redesign it, it was supposed to go live on 24th December to celebrate it’s 3 years anniversary, but I wasn’t really ready with it. This was my first post in this format and I remember a great deal of joy when I prepared it and posted it because it wasn’t really planned, it happened naturally – I just wanted to write and I did. Nowadays I can’t really focus to write anything, not to mention that the time spent doing photography is very low, but I really want to start doing it more, so wish me luck.
I also been trying to take care more of myself, so I try to eat better, I walk more ( the only good thing that comes from going to the office is going out of the house and moving more) and since the start of the year I also visited some doctors, tying to keep everything healthy. I am also thinking of either taking swimming lessons or renting a bike more often.
Another thing that happened is that since the start of the year I am an internal trainer – I teach Power BI to my colleagues here in Bucharest and the experience is something I have never had at this level. I have only had a couple of sessions and have many more to come, I am glad I am finally doing this! And separately I am studying to get my certificates in Python which also means I have to work on my portfolio.
So, a lot of stuff in the works which I am juggling everyday. Wish me luck!
Hope you are also in a good place, having the time of your life and doing the things you like to do.
Starting the year strong with some planned and scheduled posts so hope you are with me this year, too!
See you soon!
Happy weekend!
