A Dream Come True

First of all, I would like to set up the mood of this week’s post with some british music for my liking – let me know if you like this one too. I recently went to the cinema screening of the remastered Live in Pompeii album. This below is one of my fave songs.

Second of all, I want to kind tell the story about how we got to UK.

As you probably know by now if you read this blog often you know that I am a huge Harry Potter fan and for my birthday last year I received tickets to the Harry Potter tour in London. OMG – dream come true!
We had an year to plan the date and time to get to the tour and I wanted to visit UK in autumn so yeah – 9 months later there we were – we visited in November 2024.

When I say that this is my home away from home I am not lying. I felt in my element over there. I love everything about that country and I would move there.

We stayed in Stoke Newington so we went often in the park nearby which is Clissold park. This park was filled with doggies, I was so excited.

We also went to visit the cemetery near this park, where it seems that Amy Winehouse filmed some shots for Back to Black music video.

Then, it was time to wander around the city. I don’t remember exactly the order of the places we saw, but enjoy the pics.

And here we have the Sherlock Holmes museum, it was so crowded but we admired it from outside.
The Agatha Christie memorial – one of my fave writers.
The theatre where they play the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play.
The music shop that appears in one of my other fave series – Cormoran Strike.
There was a Mr. Bean bench somewhere too, but we remembered about it when we were too far 🙁

And now some pictures from the Harry Potter tour – not too many as I don’t want to spoil the surprise for anyone in case you go there and also these pictures are more for me to enjoy, not to upload on the internet. I will also print some of them.

The castle was so impressive, I circled it a few time to capture all the details, took a few videos and pictures, oh my god <3
The tour was incredible, every aspect that you see in the movies was thought of in detail that you wouldn’t imagine, we spend there about 4 hours or so and I would honestly would have stayed even more. My inner child was so, so happy about this experience.
I said this on instagram too, but to have visited that place knowing how many hours I spend reading in my childhood and imagining the wizarding world, how many visits to the public library to borrow the books cause I didn’t own them back then and how many times I watched and rewatches those movies that I know them by heart – it is truly a wholesome experience.

Let me know if you have visited this tour and mischief managed!
