Happy July everyone! Kind of crazy that it’s already past the middle of the year. I wanted to post something before the month ended so here I am.
It’s been a good month overall, a little stressed with work but who isn’t. Even though I say I don’t want it to affect me it stil does, I am unfortunately dealing with some unserious people that don’t understand or don’t want to stress themselves with work so everything with them is in slow motion and we are being rushed to get stuff done, but we need those people to finish their part first. So you get my frustration. I know it is not in my control, but I still get very stressed about that – it is the job I like so we’re persevering.
I also enrolled in some courses, I am still on the path of getting my Python certificate so I am doing everything I can to learn. I started a personal project with Python so I can learn more by doing of course. I need a more structured schedule for that too, it is too dispersed now, of. Discipline, you guys, as in all the things!
Aaaanyway, this month I also travelled to my hometown in the north of Romania, so I will insert below some pictures.
I was nice and cool comparing to Bucharest, but I missed my doggo so much. I think I’m the one with separation anxiety, not her. BTW, on August 1st it will be 1 year since we adopted her and I love her so much ?? she is much more comfortable with us now and shows us her personality.
While I was away in my hometown I also walked a lot and made peach jam. That’s what happens when you accidentally order too many peaches from the hypermarket.
This month I also bingewatched my favorite stand up comedians (Trevor Noah, Gabriel Iglesias-Fluffy) on Netflix and also Shrek cause they have it there, hehe. Donkey is my fave character. I used to watch these as a child too, and I am pretty sure I know his lines my heart lol. And don’t we all wish to live in the swamp anyway? Away from all the people, corporations and bills and pollution.
Now I am almost done with my second watch of the Castle TV series. After this, I have to catch up with Good Omens and The Sandman.
Reading has become slower than last month, I try to read and then fall asleep on the couch so probably I should fix my sleep first.

I also carried my tripod while being away and managed to snap a few constellations from the backyard – Ursa Major & Cassiopeia. This has to be one of my fave things ever to do. I hope I get to see the Milky Way sometime soon, I will have to plan that out.
The song of my choice for the last days, actually the instrumental only this time. The original song is from a hip hop artist from Romania. Yep, I like some hip hop. I used to listen a lot of Eminem when I was younger and still know a lot of lyrics. I have a drawer in my brain labeled “Hip Hop Lyrics”.
