Greetings in the new year!
I am currently multitasking, I have my trusty old excel and Power BI opened and while those are loading and processing and whatnot I am editing photographs and creating this post for you 🙂
I admit I wanted to post these “fresh” after the (rare) snow happened in the city, but I decided to enjoy them myself for a little longer.
Doesn’t snow bring out the best in (some) people? You can see them changing a little and I actually looked this up.
Apparently the snow absorbs 60% of the sounds and provides a calm feeling, sort of like a noise machine and since being (usually) in nature, near trees and so on, has powerfully positive effects in reducing stress and enhancing wellbeing.
So that must be the reason I chose to plop onto the snow. It was so great, 100% recommend 😀

Also, apparently snow brings out the extrovert in me (what?!) and as a family of three asked me to take their picture in the falling snow I yelled “SNOOOW”, mainly to make the kid smile but we all know I was smiling, too 🙂
Besides plopping like a dog, I like to take pictures of it. Of course, meanwhile being yelled by the security of the park that I am stepping on the flowers. Oh well, I will check in the spring if they’re there!
Here are some pictures I took.

The rest are waiting to be published in my new set of wallpapers that is coming up next week 🙂 This below is just a little preview.

Cheers & happy 2024 I guess!
