I am paraphrasing Miranda Priestly, of course. Who doesn’t know this line? And of course, you know how flowers look like, but I am happy about how these turned out even though it has been a while since going out on a photo walk. Almost all are made with Canon and the 50MM lens.
I do have the same photograph with two cameras, I wanted to see how it looks with both.
On the left we have Canon+50MM, on the right Fujifilm X10.
My Fuji is 14 years old and the fact that it still can do a beautiful picture like this is astonishing for me. It has a 28-112 MM fixed lens, with f 2.0-2.8. Crazy for being this old!
My Canon is only 7 and the 50MM lens really helped with this bokeh effect, focused on the flower.
I also like to make all my photographs moody and darker, and Fuji is sometimes too bright for my liking, but I am not complaining. The edited Fuji one looks also different on my screen than it does here on the blog, too.
